Relativism: Picking Flower?

“Man is the measure of all thing?”

I once read a book talking about Protagoras, a pre-socratic Greek philosopher. He used to say, "Man is the measure of all things." Such a statement provoke me to think about the world I live in.

Picking flower has always be considered as a romantic and sentimental action in our daily life — because people live in a human-oriented world. Imagine what if this is a plant-oriented world? I believe picking flower would become murdering flower.

Process

This is my first time to try making an animation, which used to sound unbelievable to me. I spent two weeks and drew 74 frames for this whole animation although it only has 8 seconds. The most difficult part is dealing with the interaction between hand and flower. The whole process required energy, time, and patience.
